Hooked on Brewing
Desert Blond Ale
In my opinion, part of the allure of home brewing is creating. If it was only about the beer, I would just buy it. For example, if you were to talk to 100 home brewers, there's a good chance that none of them would be doing it exactly the same way. Equipment, techniques, volumes, temperatures, ingredients, philosophies, etc. That leaves a lot of room for personalization, experimentation, and fun!

I've got a citra pale ale fermenting right now - my golden promise pale ale.
Cheers to all. Have a homebrew!
Random beer trivia: Your spent hop waste is like poison for dogs! Please be careful not to dump your trub anywhere your beloved canine can get at it!!
*NEW: If you soak your carboys or kegs in PBW overnight like I do, I would NOT dump it on your lawn ... if the concentration of PBW is high enough, it will kill your grass.

I am not a master brewer - just an avid hobbyist who is addicted to the home brew process, equipment, and of course the end result.
I am very fortunate to know two people who own local craft breweries, and another who owns the local home brew supply shop. Their knowledge has been extremely helpful, and I am looking forward to continuing my learning process ...
